From Ranch to Crest

For more than 30 years Suzanne Willow and Lanita Witt have been stewards of the unique world
that is Willow-Witt Ranch.  To ensure that this legacy will continue and the land will be open to
the public, the non-profit organization The Crest at Willow Witt was created (Crest is an
acronym for Conservation, Restoration, Education, Stewardship and Trust.) The Ranch will
continue in the direction that Lanita and Suzanne set many years ago; The Crest will carry that
vision into the future and be responsible for developing all programs and events for the public on
the Willow-Witt Ranch.

The mission of  The Crest is to create a nourishing connection between people and the natural world. Through a variety of programs for all ages, we illuminate the people-land connection and cultivate love and respect for nature. We will give our visitors an intimate experience of the forest and farm ecosystems that makes up Willow-Witt Ranch. Through hands-on activities we will foster an appreciation and understanding for farming, cooking, caring for animals and caring
for the land that supports all those activities.

The vision for The Crest is that it will continue to be preserved as a sacred sanctuary for the
surrounding community.  It will be a place treasured for its beautifully restored land as well as the high quality programs and events that are offered to the community on all aspects of
environmental sustainability.
